Luis Muñoz Rivera Park is located in the Puerta de Tierra neighborhood in San Juan, across from Escambrón Beach. This park is home to several species of migratory and endemic birds of Puerto Rico. It contains two historic structures on its grounds and adjacent area: El Polvorín de San Gerónimo and the Batería del Escambrón. At the western end is the La Paz Pavilion. Its sidewalks feature 37 Venetian glass mosaic murals. Visitors to Luis Muñoz Rivera Park receive an aesthetic recreational experience with areas to walk, contemplate nature, rest, and enjoy day trips. The park also offers a safe and healthy opportunity to spend the day with children. Its play areas, safe sidewalks, and picnic areas for celebrating activities are available to the public.
